KOBO 2009 Round 1

Petar vs. AfricanoChan

General Rules and Setup

* The battle will be two rounds.
* Rounds can be as long as you want.
* You can not use a battle clip as one of your rounds (You should be battling your opponent, not someone else).
* The person with the earliest deadline goes first, followed by the 2nd bboy once their round is posted. You cannot post 2 sets in a row.
* There will be no time extensions. NO EXCEPTIONS! I don't care if you have a test to study for, your dog ate your computer or your camera is broken. You will have until the deadline to post each video.
* All deadlines are 11:59PM, Eastern Standard Time!
* If you have any questions regarding these rules, PM me.

Both of y'all had some nice musicality going on and a lot of flavor. Moreso was seen from Auro in the second round. As far as variety of moves and difficulty, they were fairly even in my eyes. The Freeze combo Petar did in round 1 was maybe on the same level as Auro's hand to airbaby. Auro did get more points though for the flare combo. A big factor for Petar losing is running baby variations throughout the battle. I think I saw a baby freeze variation 1 too many times (4 to be exact I believe).

My vote goes to Afrochan.

Thanks to Penkest for being the sub. in my eyes, this was a, almost total, blow out by afrochan. he was on point with his musicality and battle mentality. Also his footwork techs and flare combo were much more advanced than anything penkest did.
Although Penkest was on his musicality, his steps were also very basic. clean, but basic. your 2nd round started off pretty weird with the sayain suit (haha jp) and your repetition of the baby freeze.
