How do you do threading in a handstand? - 09-20-2003, 10:47 PM

How do you do threading in a handstand? (Threading is where you grab one leg with the opposite hand, and then bring the other leg through the loop)

I go into it on my handstand on my right hand and try to grab my right leg with my left hand, but I can't seem to even begin to get it right. How do I go into this? eg. Do I twist to the left/right? Do I kick higher with my left leg? My one-handed handstands are pretty good and my pikes are alright if that helps.

how so?
the fact that he described the move makes it possible. stand on one hand grab with the other and thread. whats the big deal? if you cant do it at first than practice then you will get it down.

impossible is a word i havent heard for a while.

Of course it's not impossible. I have several videos of people doing it like crazy. One guy did it twice in a row. Another guy did it straight out of a one-handed airbaby. Go to www.style2ouf.com, and check out the last two videos of 'City Breakers' or 'Breakers in the City' (Numbers 3 and 4, especially 4). They're in the media section under videos, category break.

In a handstand both your hands are on the ground making it impossible to grab your foot with one of them. Your all thinking of an airfreeze.

odi rao, ur sersouly a dipshit. Don't be coming in here acting smart. Seriouly, that's one of the most dipshitted things I've ever heard. And in a handstand, it could be either one hand or two hands that's why it's called a "handstand" dumbass. And I'm pretty sure an airfreeze isn't the same as threading.

When you say that, it's like saying someone doing a headstand without hands isn't a headstnad anymore. Headstands with hands to balance or without is still a headstand. Same thing with handstands. With one or two hands, it's still a handstand.

And ya I'm pretty sure an airfreeze isn't the same as threading. I'm not the one who stated that we're all thinking an airfreeze is threading.

I have no idea how you get "an airfreeze is a thread" out of that.

2 hands = handstand
1hand = airfreeze

It's just a known fact.
