Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

Any of you took part in some comp or something? I was in my school team once in some inter-school comp and the team came in first. I got some third placing for individual in parallel bars. The medals are collecting dust in my cupboard now

b-boy Syth: jupp, they use a way more scissored technique then bboys do, and jupp, alot of gymnast coaches hate bboy flares, hehe . But in my opinion, I think it is because they have probably seen alot of the lame ones, cuz there are many good bboys who do nice flares with bboy techuniqe..

gymnastics is dope. Double back full is crazy shit. its fucked how so many bboys knock gymnastics when alot of moves come from that discipline. Or better put alot of bboys use these moves.
flare
1990(evolved from handstand pirouettes)
front handspring
bak handspring
front headspring
bak headspring
bak full
front tuck
back 1/2
front 1/2
turtle airchair planche ect all of these have circus gymnastic original(in old europe productions, gypsies had a hand in alot of this) static though not in motion like today. Someone would hold a turtle freeze or and airbaby but it didnt really link into other stuff, so far as i no.

possibly headspins cuz headstands are of gymnastic origin

im sure im forgetting stuff but ne one can add

I'd learn gymnastics, but they're too anal about pointy toes and form.
