Ive been popn for a while and just recently decided to start bboyin. Ive been trying to get handglides. Ive made good progress but after about my 2 rotation my elbow starts to slip out. Either that or I fall on my head. Thats happend a couple times. Every now and then I get lucky and I can stop tapping and i can get a couple more rotations. Any tips wud help a lot.

You got 2 rotations so you got the technique. The rest depends on how much you practise. And i would highly recommend that you don't practise handgildes cause their one of the gayest and shittest moves unless you want to do jackhammers.

i disagree. Handglides can be amazing with some trix added to them, like sideglide holding legs etc..you can't just call a move shit, if handglides are shit then halos are shit because you handglide a little in halos..i wish people would stop calling moves shit, it just doesn't work that way, the only reason you can do advanced power is coz you evolved from those 'shit' moves..damn

urarsebaby is right- handglides are shit... its just a beginner move- so harry once u get them move on to other float moves

syth what u talking about is variations of handglides -that is like comparing nutcrackers to babies

as for help on harry keep ur elbow further in the middle- u prolly got ur elbow too much to one side so ur slipping out

i meant icey-ice which is handglide with head on ground, you need handglide strength to halo, and headglides wouldn't hurt

Buddy, ice-icey isn't handglide with your head on the ground. Your elbow is on your side when your spinning directly without using your hand to help push you. You usually do it coming out of a windmill and eventually stop into a side/baby freeze. And you don't need handglide to do halos, unless your halos are so low, in that case you're a moron. And since halo is a variation of a windmill, you just need to be about to hold the handglide position, not actually do it. So therefore you're wrong.

icey ice is another name for headglide, checked with my crew the say it's the same shit.

how would low halos make you a moron, they are the hardest kind, otherwise ur basically doing taps..anyway, tone down the attitude, i was saying that handglide strength leads to bigger better things not just frikkin halos so don't diss it little punk

After you get handglides down fine are jackhammers that hard to learn.

jackhammers in my opinion are bit more advanced then most floats

I just explained what an icey ice so I won't explain again. A headglide is when you're on your in the headstand position and pushing with your arms. It's basically sliding on your head using your hands to push yourself. And when you're doing this you're NOT in the handglide position. And don't go around calling people a little punk. I'm probably twice your size.
