Hey i wanna post some of my vid's on the forum but i dont know how to convert my .avi's to .wmv's Anyone know how to change it??

Use windows movie maker it comes built in with xp... if you don't have xp you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com

Open it open and go file > import
once its imported right click on it and click add to sotry board
then go file > save movie

It should be compressed and in WMV form.

Any ulead media studio is good for converting ur vids to just about anything from almost anything...

right click your file and rename it, then put a .wmv at the end of it. then post it up and it should work.

no i tryed to do that were you rename it to .wmv but it doesnt work i alredy tried that... ill try out that windows movie maker maybe it'll work thx

ThX chucky i figured it out and it works.... do u know if there is a way to make my video brighter and save it that way because when i recorded it, it was in a dark place so its hard to see do u know if there is a way to make it brighter and save it that way....?

Ne 1 know how to convert winamp files to wmv cause i downloaded winamp and it changed all my wmv files to winamp and i cant change the back

right click a file then select 'open with' then go to choose program then select the program that you want to open it with, then check the box that says always use the selected program etc then click ok

make sure you make smallest settings you can when u make "new movie" bc if u try as save as it doesn't work
