yea how r u trying to hop..to keep balance you have to use both your arms and legs...depends what u want to do,... you gotta get use to the motion of swinging your legs opposite from each other while hopping on ur hands....if dat makes any sense to u.... dont be afraid to lean forwardand reallly bring ur legs over
yeah, ive had some problems, not with hopping balance, but with height, i can hardly get an inch off the ground for some reason...

Firstly, be able to hold a handstand comfortably for atleast 2-3 sconds (legs straight as possible and then hold it with legs bent). Go into a handstand and slightly (only slightly, not too much or you will collaspse) slight bend at the elbows. The bend is only for a short matter of time, dont hold the bend. Whilst you were bending at your elbows, your legs should have bent at the same time. Exhale your breathe and push with your hands together (as though you are pushing the floor into the ground even more and whilst you do this, yank your slightly bent legs pushing up towards the sky. Repeat this in rhythem and you should get a nice smooth hop and your body will feel light. Remember, the bend in the arms are slight and only for a short period of time, its NOT a planche, so dont hold it there.
yep.......look i can get only 3-4 hops but hey jux focus on where ur hand is landing and ensure that ur kicking.....not saying i'm an expert but i'm also learning and could use any tips also

bend your legs over to the front n then kick them so that they go straight n ur body's streamlined. That's what provides the hop, muscling it out is inefficient
err, no... You can do hopping handstand: just pushing off with your arms, and kicking your legs to the ceiling to get height. then there's scissor kick: only pushing off with your hands, and swinging your legs back and forth to simulate a scissor. When you do one handed handstand hops, you usually don't scissor your legs, but anyway, those are called solar eclipses...
