This is my first post, I've been reading around the guides and first off would like to say they have been very helpful. I have to agree though when you're newb the last thing you want to do is grab some cardboard or lino and go try and learn a powermove you can't do.

My room are quite small (unfortunately). I have plenty of room to do the basic moves but not the power moves. I tried to do 1990s and I nearly hit the window. Lucky that I didn't break it (laugh). My living room are quite big. I'll just have to move the table, couch and stuff like that but the thing is I don't want to disturb my mom (or getting in her way). I was thinking that maybe I will have to get up early in the morning to do the power moves for practice while my mom's at work.

I recently redid all my floors so I had mad carboard lying around. I managed to cover my entire backyard with a few layers of it, and break back there as much as I can. I also cleared as much space in my room as possible.

Don't be afraid to bboy in public, it's good performance experience and even if you suck: the average person will still be impressed.

On youtube I found a toprock tutorial where these trailer park trash kids climbed onto the roof of their school and made a bboy movie. It was horrible, but that's evidence bboying can happen anywhere.
