youre not gona like this.....

stay off it

seriously though, you dont have to stop breakin for awhile, just take it really easy on the turtles and freezes where theres LOTS of pressure on your wrists, and if you still really want to do them, do them about 3/4 into your practice because you will be warmed up and your wrists will be most loose....but if they still hurt even when ur really warmed up then its time to stop for a while.

basically if they start to hurt, stop what youre doing...i hurt my wrist a while back, just practice footwork and elbow freezes, they dont put lots of force on your wrists, especially if you do footwork on your fingertips or like on your palm but with your thumb pointing the opposite (almost) direction of your fingers, so the center of your palm isnt on your hand.

I think its fairly normal. It just depends how it hurts and how bad it hurts. Turtles require a shit load of wrist strength.. if its painful AFTER you practice... a little ice should work. If you think you are injured, stop. Don't mess up yourself. But you said your wrist hurts when you try to do walks.. I think you should use your hips more. When you try to walk, if you try to straight up arm the move.. its going to be fairly slow and its going to burn like a biznanae in your arms. You have to move your hips to the side, so your body rotates a bit, so your arms catch you. How long can you hold the freeze for? peace, hope this little thing helped ya out, later.

im sorry guys, but handstand is NOT a breakdance move (unless you can hop it, or invert it, or do something with it).

as for turtle, the key is conditioning. every day get into turtle position until you can hold it for about 30 seconds. then once you can do that, practice shifting your body weight from one arm to the other. try getting one rotation. it's a hard road to travel, but you'll get there. peace

yea, the pain'll go away after a while but as for now, lay off turtles or similar freezes till it gets better.
