I have a friend who loves to dance, and she showed me a move she said was called "the Rerun"...

It looks like low wrist twirls and steps in and out, hard to explain because I was hardly paying attention. I was just surprised she was actually locking

Rerun was the name of Fred Berry/Mr. Pinguin's character on the late 1970s show "What's Happening"... iirc Mr. Pinguin did a couple locking routines on the show. When I lock in public people have stopped me and said that I'm doing the Rerun... haha!

that actually happened to me yesterday too. I was locking at work and a girl said I was doing the Rerun! I said "yeah, but I'm locking" and she then said "no, it's called poplocking". wasn't gonna argue that one, terminology isn't worth my time.

that's cool that the style is recognized at least.
