body variations tutorial -
08-01-2005, 10:41 PM
i made a body variations tutorial but for some reason zed, putfile and bboy.org arent taking them
SO im announcing that i shall be holding a body variations tutorial file in soulseek
find me in the POPPING room, under the name OMGitsaPOSER
i'll try to be on as often as i can
the video is called "Body Variations.avi" it should register as about 6.3 megabytes
now that video is to go ALONG with the tutorial i wrote below, for the video is simply putting in EXAMPLE what i explain below:
(keep in mind, this is a tutorial for a BASIC and HORIZONTAL variation, not anything more)
body variations (a.k.a. torso variations) deals with mostly isolating three main parts, the neck, torso, and shoulders. however, that is the most basic of body variations. some people go as far as using their arms, and roll their legs.
once you have learned to isolate those parts, the combination of them makes a body variation.
neck: rolling (clockwise or counter) in a circular motion, self explanitory.
shoulders: going in an up and down pattern for beginners (kinda like waving i suppose) or for more advanced, rolling them in a vertically circular motion.
chest: this is what most people have a hard time with. its like a wave within the chest, but doesnt go to your shoulders. the pattern would be: SHOULDER, CHEST, (OPPOSITE) SHOULDER, BACK
the shoulder movement for the chest (not to be confused with its isolated movement) is simple enough, it just goes out, as in forward.
the chest, simple enough as well, out
then the back, it might sound stupid, but its a simple hunch
chest movement cheesily diagrammed below:
------------- BACK (don't mind the "-" its just spaces)
SHOULDER -------- SHOULDER
------------ CHEST
you can move them in either clockwise or counterclockwise for horizontal variations.
now when you put that all together.... you get a basic horizontal body variation. it should look like a body wave kept within your chest.
done, now see the vid if you need more visual example.
