edit: the main part im talkin bout is between the glides when one foot stops and the other starts, maybe i just need to record myself but it feels like it takes a sec to change and i kinda pause. any help?

thank you, a nice specific question!

well, when going right for glides, i find it easier to roll your left foot over in an arch. it adds to the effect and is a decent transition if you wanna keep going. visa versa for going left.

walk around the house on your tip toes in socks for 20 minutes every day.

do this for two weeks religously. You will be pleased.
eventually you can straighten your toes............

I think I know what you're problem is, but I'm not so sure. Try posting a vid. Gliding was the first move I learned. LOL.

It might help to practice standing on the balls of one foot at a time and pivoting the heel left and right. That's the motion you need to get while transitioning. Doing that helped me some.
