Dimestopping is one of the more relatively easier things(for lack of a better word) to learn in popping, but many people dont bother to learn it until 2-3 years in....

been practicing dimestop for bout a week now...my wife gets a kick outta me doin all over the house to the claps.

she bout fell on the floor when i was dimestoppin while doin laundry!!!

depends. you can dime stop wihout hitting - but its really hard to get it clean. Thats how you do strobing.....if you tense your muscles p when yo stop, without hitting - its a hard dime ( a- la bopping - just freeze tight....with bopping you bounce it too)

and then theres hitting dimes which look REALLY animated - like rugged stop motion style, clunky claymation. give a little hard banging style to the whole fell.

then you can mix it up and do whatever you like......EG Shrimp uses hard dimes a lot, Boppin dre tends to do dimes withot hitting for his sinbad.

The dime stop part means STOP. Everythig else is entirely up 2 u and you're style

one thing about dimestoppin.

to get precise botted dimestops, stop everything. breathing, thinking, etc. come to a full stop all over yourself. then resume.
