How long did it take you guys to flow really easily with your locking and freestyle it really good? About how long should it take me being self taught?

It took me about a year to get my foundation down and to have the balls to cypher with all the other lockers out there. Im still not that good though but I believe that I'm decent enough, being self-taught and all.

So I would say a year of watching you-tube videos and trying to mimic a style you like, then adding your own creativity to it. Cuz yeah, mimiking helps a lot, just don't get too carried away. well that's what I did.
