jaminb200: I think worm shouldn't be used in breakdancing at all. It should only be used with popping/locking. Because it is techniclly a body wave except you do it on the floor.

i thought kev1's set was clean and very sick. deff top 16 material T_T. and cico is nasty. he'd make top 16 easily. Dancing to the music is a big part of bboying (dur it's a dance) but it's different than beat hitting. If the beat inspires your aura and attitude to change and be different than another bboy's, thats using the music. im not gonna study cico atm and see if his expression and sets look different to different music... but im just sayin. On the technical level, cico's at a point where the shear cleanliness of his moves is enough to blow people away.. "powerheads" is a style too. And given the experience the judges for kobo have, i'm sure they'd recognize it as a different style and not call someone like cico out for not hitting beats... it's a very noob thing to say, calling a powerhead a gymnast. Originality is a huge part of Bboying, and originality is what sets you apart from other bboys.. Cico's specific trait is the speed, cleanliness, excecution, and combo(ing) of extremely difficult power.. think tombstone mills to 1.5 airflares |

why am i being compared to cico?
just because i do power. i take that as major disrespect. just because you been on the forums for the year doesnt mean you know what bboyin is. |

Kev1 deserved to get the spot on top 16. He wasn't doing all power either, half of his set was footwork. If you pay close attention to the music he kinda starts and goes with it, like right before he's about to start doing fw if you watch again.
Ohh and I just saw edd, very nice shit man |

edit: oh and also, i showed my boy razz some videos of the other entries to kobo. he picked out how ur set was dope. He liked the certainty of your arm movements in your toprock (there was one point where it seemed a lil strange, but he still said the certainty of your arms really added a lot to your set.). i agree w/ him lol. props |
