One handed kip-up??? - 10-03-2004, 09:19 AM

Now i can do kipups and i'd like to improve them.how cn i do that??i heard about one handed kipup.is it like da 2 handed but just wiz one??here's my kip-up, can u tell me how 2 improve it??thanx lol

1. keep your feet together (style)

2. kick harder, and a lil more vertical

combine that with

3. use shoulders and hands more to get your upper body up more

then you will have a higher kip-up, which will lead to one handers, no-handers, 180s, etc.

A one hander...hmm. If I were you I'd just go from a two handed to a no handed kip up. It seems a one handed would be harder since it would put you off balance when you try and push up.

Thats just me.

you have to compensate by leaning toward the shoulder of the hand you are pushing with
