How does it hurt? Is it like a bruised feeling or something internally wrong?

Anyway try on some grass or carpet which I use. I have to go through quite a bit of pain when I try mine but that's how u learn!

kip not kick - 05-06-2004, 05:56 PM

I saw on "how to breakdance" tape that this moves is called kip ups.
I didn't write it wrong, I didn't mean kick up.

second, about the pain:
I just feel like I'm falling on my back from the air (when coming to think about it - that is actually what happens) but when I see the guy on the tape do it, I see him doing it on the floor, and I don't get why doesn't it hurt him like it hurts me, what should I do?

ur landing on ur back too much. try landing on ur hands first and then use them in a spring motion to bounce back and forth.
and if ur trying to land on ur feet push harder with ur hands and
lean foward to get up. I learned kik ups from waching jakie chan.
hope it helps

It's usually easier to do kip ups on a mattress cuz they are softer and are bouncy
On the floor it's [SoLiD] so it's kinda harder

After you kick your legs to help gain momentum to pull yourself up, you have to remember to pull them back inwards to catch yourself so that you will have the balance to stand.

I also learned that you should learn kip-ups on a matress first because its so much easier and less painful. When you finally learn the motions that you should go through and are able to do the kip-up on a matress, start practicing it on the floor. It will probabally take a little time to be able to do it on solid ground because there are no springs helping you.

I love asian girls. They are so cute and innocent but at the same time, so skilled and experianced.
