If you grab a chair or get a friend to hold out their arm so you can hold it with your free hand (in your case - you're left hand) and then you just practise your L Kicks. When you are comfortable with that practise without a chair or friend.

Concentration is the key.

i have troubles with my nikes and l kicks.

i usually start as though im doing a cartwheel and then try and kick my legs towards my head, cept my hips are facing the wrong way, and my legs ar still moving like they would if i was doin the cartwheel.. they end up going over my head and thats when i fall ova

any tips?

Practise with a chair for support!

So if you do over kick then you won't fall so hard and you can probably even use the chair to balance yourself out again.

I don't think they are having problems gaining momentum if they are over kicking and hurting themselves.

I've been to both breakin' and capoeira classes and both times I have been taught to learn them using support.

L-kicks are by far my favorite move so I'll help u out

if u are a beginner and u cant turn your whole body around then u can start by switching you hands and turning your body, when u get dat down u can go one one hand and split both your legs to make a L

kinda hard to explain buh i tried
