Girl pushups aren't as affective as regular pushups. For regular pushups, start off with 2 sets of 10 repetitions. After each week, add on 5 more repetitions to the set.

Be sure to lower your chest to the ground and hold it for a 2 count. Then push yourself up until your elbows are completely locked to fully stimulate muscle growth. Keep a straight body so your knees don't begin to droop.

You can also have someone LIGHT sit on your upper back. Or find some form of weight to put onto your upper back when doing the exercise. Both exercises are good add-ons for resistance weight.

That should help increase your triceps, deltoids and pectoral strength.

any form of resistance exercise will work alot better if your training the other muscles too. You'll only be able to do so many pressups before your triceps kick in and start doing the work a bit more than they should. Practise 'dips' too and you'll soon see a boost in your pressups and vice versa!!

ha! another post under my belt!
