Ayo People.. Next Year Im thinking about taking Gymnastics at ma skoo. I heard that Gymnastics people ar strong like a mutha fatha since they can do all that acrobatic tumbling stuff. U think Gymnastics will make me strong enuff to do hard moves like flares and otha stuff? Becuz in a show that i saw recently, Dis Gymnastic guy was doing flares on sum elevated bar thing. I think its called a straddle horse or sumthin and sum lil kid was doing Circles on an elevated circle. I think they call it a mushroom. But if I practice on those tools u think I can do Flares and circles on da ground? Help me Out sumone...

pommel horse and the mushroom are a good place to learn how to do circles and flairs. conditioning is about the same in both breaking and gymnastics so if you joing a team its pretty good motivation to do your conditioning exercises. it will take you a while to get strong though and learn the techniques associated with the skills for flairs and circles. heh

i'd rather learn them on floor first cuz it forces u to extend ur circles and flares over the ground, then u can automatically do it on pommel horse/mushroom.
moves i got
all variations of footwork, toprock, uprock, turtles, helicopter/coffee grinder(1 and 2 handed), skyscraper, (air)chair, planche, kip up, no handed kip up, swipes, front handspring, front tuck, 2 handed air baby, super duper L kick, 1 legged swipes, handglides, crickets, windmills (stabbed), both ways leg hops, scissor kicks, back handsprings/back tucks, flash kicks, double legs, fulls, double fulls, front fulls, kick fulls, pretty much any crazy tumbling pass, and wallflips.
pm me and i'll help u with any of those moves
Things you should know:

Yeah flares can be done easy after about 1.5 yrs gymnastics...
if ur a real kid (6-9yrs), u can get it in 3 months or less!
i had 3 yrs gymnastic experience b4 bboyin' and my second mov was the flare (first was the mill)
