5 Basic Workout Rules -

I just thought I'd throw in some insight into a few topics that many breakers have problems with:
Workout Rule #1: Workout for longer than you sit behind your computer reading these forums.
Workout Rule #2: BE HYDRATED! Water is not just a necessity for sweating, but water is also what lubricates tendons in between joints, allows flexibility in muscles, and lets your body convert carbs into energy.
Workout Rule #3: Warm-up (I warm up by doing 20 rotations of six step in a row, changing directions at 10). After you warm-up, do some stretching, but don't overdue it. Ie. when you stretch before you break, stretch to break, don't stretch to do a split. If you need increased flexibility, you need to achieve that at a different time. Perhaps after you session, sit down for half an hour behind the TV and stretch your muscles for increased flexibility.
Workout Rule #4: Laugh and smile. If you are out there and are so concentrated on getting mills by the end of the month, I'd bet money that by the end of the month you won't have mills. When you get on the floor, if you wanna work on mills, do a few rotations, then go onto something else. If you practice nonstop, you are going to mess up, then get in the habit of messing up, then get further away from where you started. Mistakes become 10x harder to correct in this situation. However, if you mill a few times then decide it's time to bust your ass attempting your poor little miniflare, when you come back to your mill, your body will have learned from the mistakes it made the first time. If you don't give it time to learn, it will simply destroy itself.
Workout Rule #5: Don't expect instant gratification. Even if you go a month without seemingly making any progress, at least you're having fun. Also, for every bad day that you have, that is one day you are closer to having a good day.
