I'm sorry, all this chocolate I see in this thread is funny. Chocolate is fast burning and full of simple sugars. Those are TERRIBLE FOR YOU. Even after bboying, you're better off drinking a soda than drinking hot chocolate.

Contributing though,

- Chicken
- Lean steak
- Cheese sticks
- Cheese period
- Wheat bread
- Turkey
- Fish (my favorite being mahi-mahi)
- Unprocessed anything
- Anything vegetables
- Olive oil
- Generic vegetable oil (watch out for canola content!)
- Peanuts
- Nuts period
- Skim milk
- Oatmeal
- Special K (wheat/rice type, not the normal stuff)
- Brown rice (even jasmine is okay in moderation)

For fat loss

- Light colored meats
- dark colored carbs

Two general rules to live by. I've also read that no matter how many carbs you eat, you'll still lose weight if you hold a calorie deficit. Not too long ago a few studies were published that found

- There is nothing proving eating multiple small meals helps keep your metabolism active

- Holding a deficit of 500 calories a day will lose a pound a week no matter how many or what type of carbs you eat.

The only difference is that the slower burning carbs last you longer. This doesn't mean they burn hotter - but more so they keep you full. This prevents you from eating more than your deficit and has nothing to do with a hastened metabolism causing weight gain (in fact it's quite the opposite).

The reason people get fat off sugars is because they eat them in excess.

All I have to say is this:

CORRELATION IS NOT CAUSATION.

In the morning, I just start of with a high protein fruit shake.

My recipe:
-Ice (depends on you)
-2 bananas
-1 apple
-1/4 cup raspberries
-1/4 cup blueberries
-2 Tbls of peanutbutter
-1/2 cup vanilla icecream (to add some sweetness)
-milk (if you can't drink milk, try some juice)
-Whey protein 1-2 scopes (you shouldn't rely on this too much. I only use it every other day. Try sticking to food than whey powder. Another alternative is [soy protein].)

Thats my breakfast there.

alritey, so u get urself some farmers cheese or cottage cheese, yogurt (preferably with some kind of berry flavor), and some raisins, and then mix those three together, stir it up so that the yogurt and cheese bits mesh together, and you get this thing- lots of protein, LOTS.

Yogurt doesnt have a lot of protein as other things, neither does raisins, so it would be better to get different things that have protein, like eggs with cheese and milk, and with yogurt if you want to. With all 4 of those you get more protein. Nuts also have a lot of protein, so peanuts can help you after a workout.
