like my background is a mixture.. but basicly im arab...

long long time ago tribes from yemmen, sudiarbia moved south to sell goods, they ended up at coutrys like Somali and kenya etc.. then the italians brought the somalians and they like raped our ppl and killed us etc.. so we fled, theres not much of us but were called

The older side of my family isn't much into dancing. I mentioned this before but my mom was into bboying, and she taught me how to do my foundations. My family is Christian (non-denominational) and we don't see the problem in culture. If God gave us a gift why would we waste it. God doesn't make talents so we can throw them away. Look at Lecrae, Truth, or Tedashii they're some of the best Christian Rappers, and they're doing it to praise God. And I admit Run DMC, Biggie, Tupac, or Iron Maiden and Metallica, have fantastic art. We accept the Hip-Hop culture, Metal, and anything that's not going against our religion. If we can dance let's represent our religion (whatever it may be) through our talents. I understand we have our own religions, but If in your base (Old Testament, The New testament, Quran, or The sayings of Buddha etc.) there's nothing against it, it's just that people don't think you could do the will of your religion by dancing.
If your base is the Bible, David was into the musical arts, Jesus would go and hang out with a bunch of Prostitutes, tax collectors, etc. I'm sure he liked to enjoy himself once in a while. I'm just babbling on right now, just trying to get my point across. (AND AGAIN THIS IS MY OPINION, SO I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS THE WAY blablahblah) I'm only 14, so I'm probably just a confused child.

I'm muslim but my parents think it's good for me. Only real traditionalist old muslims have a problem with this
