Arrow Arrgh Handstand Help - 07-04-2006, 09:03 PM

im having some issues with handstands. Ive read all the freaking threads but i still need help. I get up and stay 5 seconds tops, the fall back to where i started, and i try to put pressure on my fingers to alter the balance but it dosent work. im trying a balance point by looking at the ground between my hands, and im working on walls ( a little little little bit )

So any suggestions on what i can do?

P.S. if anyone knows how to post videos please tell me how!!!

Hmm...How long have you been practicing it? It takes time to get the handstand and won't come over night. Work on some HSPU's because that will help prevent fatigue in just holding the handstand. Try kicking up to the wall so you can use the wall for adjustments and when you get good at the adjustments try it freestanding. When your falling back to your starting spot dip down with your arms and palms and that should make you go forward (it might not always save you so bring your feet further over your head also). And when your going over your head press down with your fingers with the right amount of pressure. I've been practicng it for like a month now trying to do those adjustments and I held it for like 15 seconds yesterday. Also the softer the ground you practice on the easier it is....
