I can do like a dozen handstand pushups. But I can't freakin get hoppin very much. I can barely get the tips of my fingers off the ground. I'm hella frustrated and any advice or tips would help. Peace
If you're kicking with your legs, kick harder. Kick straight up and make sure that you're strong enough to land back on the 'stand. If you can't hop very high, then kick harder and harder. Don't just kick as hard as you can because you might kick too much and screw up pretty bad.

Wow ManHy you're retarted, I'de report your post to a mod but it'd probably go to your dumb ass...
if he can do a dozen handstand pushups, then he obviously has the strength, you dolt. and plus, this move isnt' even a strength move, i could do it in my sleep and not get tired. TECHNIIIIQUE.
you can do it in your sleep? is it really that easy for you? Can you do it one handed? jw. Man I gotta practice more, all i did was lift weights all summer, so now i got all the muscle i need, i just need to practice, neway thats what i think
well, my routine staring next week, (which I used to do last year) is to work out every other day, switching between upper and lower body. Breakin every day i'm not workin out. So it all works out! =D
i dont even need to use my arms... just my hips and legs and i'll get height, since that's what actually puts you in the air when you do handhops. and yes, i own 1 handed hops.
if all you use is your strength, you're gonna have ugly powered out hand hops, which are nasty to watch. it looks better to see the technique... so beautiful.
do you practice with pumping your legs? or scissoring?
Breakin' was something that society didn't know about, it was something too new for them to even understand, and because of their ignorance to it and lack of knowledge about it, they got scared, and the first thing they do when they get scared about something is to try and stop it...
Side note: Yes, if you power them out you will get bad looking ones. But I learned the 2 handed by sheer power, then technique. Lo and behold, I OWNZ them, same thing happened for 1 handed.
Lesson: Learn it whichever way is best for you. If you need to learn how to do it by sheer power, don't forget to work on your technique. Just like shooting a basket. Gotta have technique.
ok i give you advice if u want to follow do so if not dont =D
most of people think its useless to learn 2hand hoops. ok "its too easy ".
the point is when u use both of ur hands u dont really use ur strenght so u learn the technique. for handhop with 1 hand , u gotta learn how to kick straight up or sissor or wtv u want first. so by learning it with both hand u get the technique and the form. after that all u have to do is get 1-2 hops with one hand and practice till u become better than me =D
