how long does it take to hold a decent handstand -

how much practice does it take to hold a decent handstand? I've been practicing and i still cant get it.

you haven't been practicing enough. turn off hte computer and go practice.

about how long would a decent handstand be? I can do a handstand for 5 seconds.

it varies from person to person. just remember to arch your back. also try walking to rebalance your body. if your body is falling forward, walk forward and vise versa. i know walking sounds harder, but it actually helps you rebalance if needed.

a handstand is good when you have control of it. that is, you can hold it in one place and control your balance. if youre about to fall, you'll be able to regain your balance without moving your hand placement.

Yeah, but for me it was easier to learn by walking first. I wouldn't try any handstand moves (like solars) until you can hold your handstands the way VP described.

donnnt arch ur back... i made that mistake and was able to hold a handstand for as long as i wanted... but it looks krappy as hell when ur back is arhced... i have to kompletely re learn mine kaus my stupid arched back.... ill post a pik and show u how bad it looks

trill this works for me, Work on keepin your back straight as possible, and tighten your leg muscles and try to keep your legs straight, if u have to bend them now then do it , but once u get the hang of it work on gettin your legs straight
