i think thats a bad tip... i am learning 90's and it's WAY to different to keep switching back and forth from tile/wood to carpet.. carpet is SOO much different. you THINK you feel balanced and can spin lots, but on wood you just get embarassed that it's so dif. i'd stick to just learning on smooth.
cuz learning them slow on carpet feels WAY different than gettin faster spins on smooth stuff. i found once i started on smooth surfaces i couldnt stay up as long cuz i spun faster
