Angry handstand balance - 12-01-2003, 10:58 PM

ive been practicing handstands for over 2 months now and i still cant keep my balance for more than a couple of seconds. I can get up there pretty easily. i dont know, maybe im physically retarded, but ive tried every suggestion that ive heard. maybe i need more practice?

u should try doing handstands against the wall, and even better, try doing it between hallways (or in between the door). use ur feet to keep u still and then u can let go. when you're about to fall, just use ur feet to help regain your balance..

Ive been practicnmy handstands for like a week and ive dramticaly improved but today i fell so hard and usualy i can tell what i did wrong but it was so wierd, bu i got hurt so bad lol
all i can say is kep tryin and dont give up and when u get hurt do it again or ull get scared

its easy man.. trow ur strongest hand to the floor.. then the other... if u trow ur right hand.. then u have to kick up ur left leg.. i mean.. the opposite leg.. undertand?.- right hand = left leg... left hand = right leg... it help me a lot.. and to get balance just put ur legs on a way that u feel better.... c ya hope it help...

once a guy said,handstand against walls are not good in learning.kicking harder is better than kicking lesser.u noe how to do handstand from all fours??yeah??try it.might help.

i'd say practice...you'll build balance and thats wat u need. try walkin on ur hands too, like if ur gonna fall forward then walk forward - i find if u hang ur legs over ur back (bend ur knees so ur heels are almost touching ur ass) its much easier to balance

That a good idea cause it can get ur shoulder muscles used to staying in that possition.

Yeh at them moment i start on all fours and like jump up but the other way sounds kool too.
