CW stands for clockwise, CCW for counter clockwise- it's referred to the way you go with your routines. Actually it may vary in this case, some people go clockwise and hop on their left arm and vice versa, but generally it's right arm for CW and left arm for CCW. Welcome to the community...

Well, a clip of it would help alot, but you probably need more practice on one handed handstands- or maybe even on regular handstands, I can't tell without a clip.

Also try and stall that one hop in a one handed handstand, when you can do that for a good few seconds you can go on and try for more continuous hops- it makes you feel the balance that way. Anyways, most of all go back on your one handed handstands.

I just started playing around with these, but I feel like my kicks aren't really lifting me off the ground...

Do I need to keep my arm perfectly tense as I kick, and not try to push with the supporting arm/shoulder at all?
Reading the guide, that seems to be the case - to keep the arm tense during the kick and bend it slightly upon return to the ground.

Any clarification would be helpful

What can I say, that was a good guide. As the other one I read. I wish all the guides on the site was like that. Unfortunately, they’re not. Just another compliment. *Thumbs up*

Lol thanks... compliments are always welcome lol

Natural, you probably won't read this as you asked a couple months ago lol, anyways yes that's it, keep your arm always tense except, maybe, at the return phase. Anyways not even I do that, I prefer to keep it tense all the way, that's just to use if you think your arm could cave in or isn't so strong yet.

Nah I'm right handed, but it also depends on which way you go- CW people usually finds it more comfortable to use the right arm, CCW people prefers the left one. There are some exceptions tho, especially about the CCW people doin stuff wih the left arm, you might be one of them.

Ok, then it MUST be something you didn't get in the motion. Damn, that's the only thing left

As I said I actually can't explain how I do it, it came pretty natural to me... so I'll just take a clip of it and post it.
