help with cathcing..halo -

yo im doing like one halo but im not even using my free hand.. im basicly just throwin it with my stabin hand.. when i throw it my feet fall and i cant really get back to my chair freese.. i can go into windmills but i wanna know some tips on using the other hand to catch.. any help??
