Question when to start air flares? - 07-04-2004, 04:58 PM

ive been thinking of something new to do and air flares caught my attention but how advanced do you have to be to start trying them?

Dont NEED to be advanced at all. but it helps. What i rekon helps is. 1990's, good handstands, get the 1990 entery real nice, flares, halos/elbowairfalres, mills. They help Thats what i think anyway.

Like you dont gottta have these moves down before you start airfalres. but if your training halos and airfalres at the same time then they are kind of the same motion with that like blind turn kinda thing. Start em anyway. but you need a decent 1990 entry.

Blah, I kind of disagree .. my 90 entry is completely different from my airflare entry.

But yeah, halos and elbowtracks help a lot .. the technique for elbowtracks are IDENTICAL to normal airflares, so if you get them down (might be easier because there's less distance to fall, thus reducing the fear factor), airflares'll be a cinch

Dumbshit. Think about it.

Airflare. Flare. It is obviously harder to do it in the air. Airchair or chair freeze. Obviously Airchair is harder.

In reality, I've heard many people say airflares are much easier to learn .. though maybe harder to hit consistently. Flares are a BITCH.

Like Mistah P said, I know people who've hit airflares first before flares -- it's understandable. I believe one is just scarier to do so not many attempt it.
