Every time I try to write with it I feel awkward like I'm doing it wrong. If I write with a fine tip Sharpie it's nothing, but the fat square shit is just weird for me.
Just a bboy standing in my bboy stance...

i kinda no wot u mean coz iv got a couple ov sharpie magnums nd they hav chisel tips too i prefer just the flat square tips but ul get use 2 it the more u use it
Well...it just feels weird when I use it and my words come out ugly when I write them. I feel like I'm doing everything wrong with it. Like am I supposed to twist it or something so it just makes one line or something? Am I supposed to hold it completely straight and just go up, down, left, right, etc?
Nah Sikk, well what I do is I hold it horizontally (so that it writes with the fat-style) n that way your lines are thick n big when are u writing the up's & down's of a letter, and if u hold it like that... ur lines become thin and skinnier when u man curves or write the side-2-side's of a letter.
Hold it one way, the same way, through the whole tag- and it should make a variety of lines on its own. Don't move it around in ur hand, unless ur really good with it already but since ur asking about it... ur not, me neither.
