instead of buying different size caps, isn't there a way where i could just ripp em' off a can somewhere?? can someone tell me where i can find them and which items have which size caps?? thanks guys..

ummm.. caps are bought seperatly or made, you can buy some from

and some stores carry them, cans just come with the generic normal cap ahahah

some people use the straw from WD40 cans for thin caps.

yea, i thought about doing the straw thing.. but i thought the paint would clog or something... oh well... thanks for the link though... a lil late on saving the day, but there's always next week :P i'll post up my newbie pics later today..

back in the day u used to be able to just walk through the supermarket and find caps on everything and just cop em. unfortunately they've gotten a bit smarter...but if u still just walk around the supermarket or dollar store ull be suprised at the caps you'll find on stuff.

the easiest way is probably to order a pack from artcrimes, bombing science, or whatever. they're not very expensive so it really isn't a problem. or u could always just learn to paint with stock caps

OH no!!! he said stock caps!!!!! Now WHAT fun could it possibly be to actually LEARN painting skills without all the shortcuts??

for real dude, if you are looking for how to make or find caps.....it is likely you aren't quite where you need to be in order to require the need for caps. Think of it like learning to scratch on shitty swap meet turntables and then graduating to 1200's. get the skills, then maybe you wont even WANT to use special caps....ya never know.
