Hey, don't know if anyone knows of this or not, but there is a Graffiti videogame out there, called: "Marc Ecko's Getting Up:"
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/...up/review.html
They say it is a very good game actually.

downloaded it, playing it...it's pretty fun, but it's just like every other video game

sucks that most of your points come from capping, catching throws and hands doesn't get you much.

Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

Or JSRF 2 I loved that game. That game had some crazy style (Not talking graffiti here).

I don't think this game will spawn many toys. I'm sure people will run around school doodling shit a lot more but most people willing to be taught something by a video game usually aren't the ones willing to break the law.

it will get pinned with the blame tho...just like power rangers for promoting violence or grand theft auto for promoting criminal offences...cuz we all kno what you see on tv and in video games is true and should be copied

and much like i said...it has come true. if anyone has been watching the news, marc ecko has been catching heat for the game. politicians are coming down, especially here in ny, from what i remember they said that kids wont be satisfied painting in the video game and that it will basically make more kids start going out and getting up....one can only hope.

marc ecko was pretty funny in his response tho.

Yeah, the anti-graffiti folk were outraged about the game before it was even released. BTW, for those that don't know, there's a limited-edition version of that game that is supposed to come with a documentary on Writing culture and a music soundtrack to the game.
