First up I'd like to say wussup to all the awesome artists on this site. Heres my issue

I've been sketching and messing around with graff/tagging whatever u wana call it for about 4 years now - however i haven't gotten much good bc i don't practice consistently. Lately i've stepped it up and now i sketch daily. I've worked on my tagging style and i can tag well consistently - but only with marker, pencil/pen. i've done some walls and alot of messing around in my notebooks. I was wondering how i could now move on to block lettering and "real" graffiti. i found a supposed easy way to make sketching tags into block letters on this site:

Does anyone use this method or would i be better off just constructing my own letters from scratch. input pleaz

yea.. dont use that method because wiggles is a hack..

post some pics of your sketches in the "nawbies thread" and we'll help you out dude!

actually, that shit does help. BUT only like up to step 3. after you get good with it, make new shit up.

well if youve been taggin for 4 years an now your just gettin into block lettering you should def use the wiggles tutorials.just dont get hooked and start copying his letters.experiments and post up in the newb thread for crits.

make your own letters up, but in my opinion block letters are usually wack

heres wha tyou do, write da normal letters n then repeat the word wit the same letters but try to play around wit the lines/curves of the letter...try to connect sum letters in thatt one word n then makem fatter/blocklettering. overlap sum too..basic ish. i cant really explain. i jus kno how to draw
