wats kink? i dont know lol...

1. if u need markers to write on the outside of the book, use some markers called decolors or decos
2. any art store... like michaels if theres one by where u live at.. or just look around ur downtown and there should be a art store
3. i dont know wat it is lol
4. well since im bearly starting too and i wanted to practice on a board first im using the cheap spraypaint, i forgot wat its called but anyways by where u live at they should be named different, but montanas, belton, krylon, and that kind of spraycans r like the ones that the pros use lol... i think. lol i think cuz theres less dripping and if u doing a mural u dont want dripping
5. i didnt understand ur question lol

Best markers to use for blackbooks are chartpaks. They come in a variety of colors, have a smooth flow of ink, and stores like Pearl Paint, and Utretch frequently have them on sale. Since you are using paper you can also experiment with different tonal effects using those square Prismacolor art stixx, that you can buy in a variety of colors for about a buck twenty five a stick. The Prismacolors are tricky to use at first, but if you stick with it, you can get some nice airbrush like effects.

most writers prefer prisma color or copic markers for coloring. they blend well and can be real blotchy or smooth like an airbrush, depending on how you use them. for inking, a lot of people i know use rapidographs, myself included.

the prisma color art stix are ok, i stick to the tried and proven methods...if you just cop the markers and a pack of color pencils you can do pretty well for yourself.

markers and stuff vary from person to person, try different ones and see which one works best for u.

if you're paying for prismas, then ur a pussy...fuckin cop that shit.

and as far as "use cheap shit...when u get used to em..ull be doin shit wit it better than the expenisve crap"....that's just ignorant...use good materials and you'll see the difference. there's a reason that sharpies are 2 for a dollar and a prisma is 4 bucks a pop...believe it or not.

this being said, you shouldn't rely on prismas or decos for a hot piece. you should be able to rock decent shit with anything, including a ballpoint pen

it's like needing montana for a decent piece. real writers can rock pieces with krylon and stock caps.

Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

maybe u said that after u saw my shit...haha...my shit aint nuttin yet and i kno it...but ive seen sketches by a writer that been doin graff for a long time...and he had fills done using craola or kraola(<-- somthin like that) better than fills ive seen using prismas or decos or watever...and i didnt say that prismas/decos wont do good shit...ther good shit...ive tried both before...

wat im sayin is...if u practice alot wit cheap colors and learn every trick...ull be doin shit as good or even better than the brandname colors..

not hatin...just sayin wat i think..

(puregraffiti.com got some crazy writers wit nice "cheap fills"..chek it out..)

While it's true that your artistic talent with shine through whatever materials you use, cheap or not, It only stands to reason that if you stuff looks hot with cheap materials it's gonna rock if you use more expensive. I get paid to draw for a living, and Ive found theres a difference in using a crayola marker than a prismacolor. Sometimes it isnt possible to use the best materials because of finances or whatever, but you wanna use the best as much as possible just to make things easier. Some of the cheaper makers bleed into the other colors much and give you a smudged look. If you like that look that you're making an artistic decision which is perfectly valid too.
