Tagging at the tracks - 10-17-2005, 02:10 AM

I went tagging for my first time tonight at some local train tracks in Cincinnati, Ohio haha hell yeah. It was mass fun and super sketch haha. I was with this crew and it was fun to see how shit goes down in the world of graffiti haha.

toy shit.

if u were busting hands on freights you'd better hope you have good hands, and that you didn't blow a spot. if u were hitting walls trackside, you'd BETTER not have blown a spot.

Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

busting hands = doing handstyles/ tags
spot = dunno how to explain it. good area for graff?? err dunno how to explain.
freights. = type of train.
blown (a spot.) = ruined it with ......
toy shit = a toy is a beginner. someone with no experience. toy shit= reely ugly pieces or work.
clear things up??

AND1..that shit sounds made up..an ronin you'd better get up on your 'lingo' i guess because what they where trying to say is that you'd better not have painted a perfectly good spot or freight. wack shit is a waste of space.keep to blackbooks if your shit isnt raw.

that's pretty terrible advice. go outside and bomb the fuck outta everything u can get ur grubby little hands on...its the only way u will ever improve. people are gonna hate no matter what, so just fuck em and keep getting up.

so it's better for a toy to fuckin heat out a yard to throw down some shit than for the yard to stay chill and have heads busting pieces?

go practice on walls before you think of hitting freights again.

i bet you left cans and shit lying around too.

cmon GC i thought you'd be with me on this one.

no i agree with you, but at the same time, considering the fact that 90% of the kids on this site have never lifted a can of spray paint in their life but consider themselves writers cuz they post on internet forums, i'll advise them to get up as much as they can. they blow a spot and they learn the hard way..just like we did.

at the end of my street there are some train tracks, nothing big like a yard, just one track, every now and then a fright will stop, but in the day only, iono how the ppl are down the street and if they would call the cops, i mean, i only live down the street, should i risk it?

don't make me break dance fight you
