a typographic approach to graffiti - 02-07-2005, 11:17 AM

Hi,

I've been studying typography for awhile now and i've been trying to incorporate certain elements of typography to graffiti style. I'm currently experimenting with what I can do with that, so maybe if you can share some tips it would be very much appreciated.

Here's a tag I made using Freehand. Its supposed to read 'Style'.

Yeah, you are all right in a some way.

Typography is the study of fonts, their orgins and the applications for which they are used.

In depth typography questions might be "Why am I using a san serif font here and not there?" and "If the kearning on Palatino Light is adjusted, does it make my page look smaller?

Shit like that. I hated my typography class in college.

Come to think of it, I hated most of my classes in college.
