a typographic approach to graffiti -

Hi,
I've been studying typography for awhile now and i've been trying to incorporate certain elements of typography to graffiti style. I'm currently experimenting with what I can do with that, so maybe if you can share some tips it would be very much appreciated.
Here's a tag I made using Freehand. Its supposed to read 'Style'.
Typography is the study of fonts, their orgins and the applications for which they are used.
In depth typography questions might be "Why am I using a san serif font here and not there?" and "If the kearning on Palatino Light is adjusted, does it make my page look smaller?
Shit like that. I hated my typography class in college.
Come to think of it, I hated most of my classes in college.
