I have a problem, When ever I try to sketch in my black book my peices always end up look very toyish. I mean completely fucked...no flow bad leter structure and everything. I dont kow if I should keep trying because i've been in to graff for like 3 months now and i still havent liked any of my sketches. I just wana have your guys imput on what I should do...... Just keep trying youll get better and better i should noe im 12 and after i keep drawing i get betetr and better buyt maybe tahts just me well i say keep going dont give up

i'm a real negative guy with low self esteem, but everytime i've wanted to quit a much loved hiphop element, i just can't. once you geta taste of it, it's there forever.
also, many people are often too judgemental of their own work etc.
try this:
get the first ever shit u did.
put it aside.
keep sketching for another 3 months
get last blackbook page u did
compare with first
notice difference
smile, and continue

if you're not coming up with anything that "you" like off hand, then try copying other more experienced peoples styles, BUT never attempt to paint them publically. Copying experienced artists styles shows a beginner the flow and ideas that go behind making a good piece. Don't trace!, try to copy by looking at pictures of other pieces; then take notes as you copy, notice how letters fit together, and how they are spaced, and notice the overall form, and similiarities of the letter structure(how most of the time each letter has somthing in common). I mean you gotta learn from examples, you need a mentor, so use work that's already been done to reach yourself..

hey man farkin 3month is nothing, I'v been sketchin for bout 2yrs now and im still shit. Like u cant be hot in only 3months in anything.

I did a mad sketch for my english final we needed a visual so I drew a pic of the band. My friend told me how to draw it tho lol... But I still love it if i can get a scanner Ill show you guys it ok. Peace

dude 3 months ain't shit, i been writing since 95 and i still don't like all my stuff. its like anything, the more ya do it the better ya get. you'd be a toy if ya stopped. i still can't piece too good, cause art ain't my thing, but i got mad crazy handstyles. just practice and do what ya good at.

there are philosophical theroies that say the other planets in our5 solar system are god messing up til he made the perfect planet, earth. so even god messes up in some peoples eyes
