i know a diff way to shikabob.....dont do a stencil show real work with paint....not a stencil

a lot of writers really dont like stencils..

stencils dont seems as risky as bombing and dont have the same artistic glamour either. anybody with a knife, acetate and a computer can make them.

on the other hand, i love stencils.. i've done stencils of bombs, a tea bag, a blimp a desk lamp, the bismark.. working on a stencil of bananas.... i even gave a friend a hat with a broken rifle on it as an anti-war symbol.. he wears it all the time.

a stencil can be put up faster than a tag or it may take just as long as a peice. multi-layer stens take time to dry and doing stencils can be every bit as risky as bombing, ,but you can put them in places people wouldnt have the balls to bomb! and you can position a stencil in well-chosen places for artistic value.

check out banksy.. he's got amazing stencils... also obey-giant is killer too..

i dont do stencils any more really.. and i wouldent give much respect to someone who does stencils either, i meen, i would rather see a throw up then a m,ulti layer stencil, and i would rather see a full color piece then a massive stencil.. the only time i would respect a stenciler is if there up, like banksy.. plus he use to write..

the only time i would use a stencil is for a crew name. i mean...bomb is right...i would rather see a throw up then a nice stencil...throw ups in my mind look way better...and they take more balls to do

stencils are good.. sure it takes little effort to do em, but they've got thier uses in graffiti..

do what you want anyways.. of stencils are your thing, do em.. if not, dont...

heh yall are missin the picture here.... i want a stencil for my hat... its pure black so i want some graff or a like a freeze on it... im not planin on usin stencils in my graff....

stencils can portray a message
not everything is about being the dopest, freshest with your name up everywhere
stencils can be fun so if you like doin them then fuck it do them. i personally love them.
and i think stencils can EASILY portray a political message way better than a piece, tag, throwup or whatever is but thats a completly diffenerent kinda thing
