homemades and recipes -

yo if enough people post some good recipes this should be stickied...
first of all if you dont know how to make your own markers...
you need an eraser (rack them for school or art supply stores), electric tape, a bottle or a carcass to fill, and something to fill it with...
you can use shit like shoe polish carcasses or pilot markers....zig makes a good thick paint marker that you can use the carcass (the paint it comes with is water based and can be scrubbed off so empty it out and dont bother using it)
All you do is fill the empty caracass up with your ink, take a strip of the felt stuff off the eraser and fold it in half and stick it in the opening for the marker, tape the base where the marker ends and the felt begins. find a cap to use for it, and tape it on (shampoo caps, laundry detergent caps, film canisters all work good) and put this in 2 zip lock bags because as soon as it becomes inverted it gets messy as shit. the harder you squeeze and push the drippier itll get....sometimes it can be a lot easier to get a shoe polish bottle and just empty it out and refill it with your ink
heres a recipe i use a lot, this makes enough for about 4 zig markers or 2 1/2 mops
1 bottle black kiwi shoe polish
1 bottle white kiwi shoe polish
1 bottle kiwi shoe cream
1 bottle rubbing alcohol
book of receipts
crayons
carcass to fill
fill a bowl up with the carbon paper from the receipt books, and break a crayon in a few pieces and put that in, pour rubbing alcohol in too. dont drown the paper and caryons, just a little bit of rubbing alcohol will do, mix it up really really good, and leave this sit for awhile (the longer the better...im talkin weeks)
when done, pour that liquid in a bowl
pour equal parts of the black and white kiwi shoe polish in with it...the cream stuff comes out when you twist the bottom of the bottle. gives it 3 or 4 twists and its gonna be really chunky so stir it up really well until everythings smooth. if its still really chunky SLOWLY add a little more rubbing alcohol, too much will thin it out too much
pour that in whatever your writing with and your good to go...
this shits not for people that like clean tags though, if you try to put it on lightly, its gonna thin out on the wall and look like shit, this is strictly if your gonna hit up some drippy, nasty, messy ass tags...its pretty nice with seeping into paint and metal and shit, and its gonna come out a nice nasty dark gray
if you got any recipes that you use feel free to post them here

the quckest and cleanest way to make a good mop is to get the liquid shoe polish KIWI makes, pop the nib off and pour the polish into a jar. add varnish and brake fluid to the polish and re-fill the container. you can make it as drippy as you like by squeezing it, or just use it regular to cet a clean line.
at the dollar store, you might find one thats got a slanted head.. makes the ink flow MUCH better

just make sure the dolar store polish is kiwi, if its the cheap shit like pride itll be too thin, and i dunno if the brake fluid and varnish will thicken it or not, i imagine that stuff is to make it permenant?

Brake fluid makes it so the tag is nearly un-buffable; there will always be a ghost tag.
And yes, it does thicken it some. To get more technicle, DOT4 brake fluid is a tad but thicker then DOT3.

do some thread searching i posted a ton of recipes in a thread named something similar to this....and i don't think it should really be stickied, ppl will find it if they find it, no use to tell the whole world ur best recipes.
Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

heres some crap
deoderant mop:
get one of those roll on deoderant containers and a screwdriver,
put the screw driver in between the ball and the outside and
move it around the the ball and then pop the ball out. empty out
what ever's in there and use a hair dryer or a cloth to dry the
inside. pull off a stirp of felt froma chalk board earaser and make
sure it fits nicely in the top. fill the container with your choice of
ink and put the earaser nib on. put it against an upright surface
and squeeze lightly untill the nib becomes nice and juice with ink.
go and destroy shit!
