toPic^ and what makes you keep writing?
I choose to write because when i frist saw a very well done burner i thought that would be sweet to do and i went home played around and was hooked and now i go out and try and BOMB try........ Aswell what makes me keep writing is or the talent and hardworking writers out there..

New York subway a year after it was built. There`s graffiti on the
moon. If graffiti is vandalism, and vandalism is graffiti, then man
has left his mark with garbage at the farthest reaches of the
universe. So you with your pathetic desire to be remembered are in
good company. I could spend a ream of paper telling you about the
development of modern graffiti, but we`ve got other ground to cover.
It`s important that you know it, so ask your local expert (or DJ
Deadly Budda in Pittsburg if you don`t have one) and he`ll tell you
his version.

i keep on writing because thats what my life is about. Pushing my artistic ways to new levels is why i keep writing also......

i don't write to get ups or anything. the only reason i bomb is to up my can control skills. i barely ever tag (using paint at least...when i'm bored i hit shit up with a fatass pilot and a mop)....so basically, i still write because i want to get to a point where i can produce dope artwork with a can of paint.














and it's a rush.



Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

i keep goin well the adrenaline is dope, to improve my actual drawing and painting skills, and from writing i have improved a hella lot with my art cos shadeing colors what match etc.. away of provein my true self and my feelings towards stuff and ish, well umm, im hungry

To talk about writers
to do some painting
To rack tips and paint with em on krylon cans
To get better and see more of the culture and see how different areas have different styles

usually I write because i'm just pissed off and that's how I can express my self, like other people eat when the're angry I write.

if i'm missing a point here, sorry, i'm new. but what do you all mean by writing?

i write poems or other stuff just to releave all the stress and shit

i write because it brings color to an otherwise bleak town. it brings life to walls and lets me be creative. hip hop has become a part of me (even thop i'm a punker) it's part of my life, i write on walls because it shows that I was there, people know that i'm out there people look at my paintings and say "thas pretty sweet". it's another way to make myself known. i have always been the least likely person to get noticed but now people look and wonder about who passed by and painted it. it's always fun to hear people say "holy shit, how did he do that". it's the little things that keep me going, the rush, the publicity, the fact thet paople looa at it and wonder what it says. but i started because it's a new medium for my art and because it's easy to express myself in one stylized word that it is to write this parograph. that and graffiti helped me realize which of my friends are truely my friends.. not everyone wants to run the risk of getting caught painting a wall because of friendship
