i'vebeen saying that for a loooong time. why do u think i posted pics of handstyles, and had that handstyle battle?

people, there is something called PROGRESSION. think about it. get good at the basics, then move on. we've got ppl here working on wildstyle who don't even have a throwie down.

Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.

wut do yall think...it looks kinda unproportional but its like my 5th attempt. The blue at the side is from my scanner and the it looks like i did the handstyle really slow cuz my scnner didnt really do a good job converting the image to jpg...

a tag usually consists of only a few letters and as few lines as possible. try taking 3 or 4 letters and writing them as fast as you can without picking the pen up off the paper(do it in one hit).
also, work on your letterforms or use different ones. your capital S and lower case e are tight, but your capital D, lower case n, k and r are wack... but thats just a matter of opinion i suppose

that is not entirelly correct, you can have as much lines and letters as you want... the most important thing is that it looks hard and flows.

The flow is the most important part really. And usually, although not always, the letters are close together. It makes it look a lot better.

Or that's what I've found. Whatever.

"GRAFFITI IS AN ART, AND IF ART IS A CRIME, HOW COME PICASSO NEVER DONE TIME"

Cavemen did it, so did Romans and Egyptians. The Incas did
it, so did Greeks and Native Americans. There was graffiti on the
New York subway a year after it was built. There`s graffiti on the
moon. If graffiti is vandalism, and vandalism is graffiti, then man
has left his mark with garbage at the farthest reaches of the
universe. So you with your pathetic desire to be remembered are in
good company. I could spend a ream of paper telling you about the
development of modern graffiti, but we`ve got other ground to cover.
It`s important that you know it, so ask your local expert (or DJ
Deadly Budda in Pittsburg if you don`t have one) and he`ll tell you
his version.

In the short time ive been in dis ive realised dat d more complicated it is the worse it is. Think of it as an urban type of calligraphy, write ur 'name' in ur fanciest handwriting but keep it street. thats the best info i can give u i guess,
