I'm about to start a mural on a wall in someones apartment and i just want to know if anyone has ever done an inside piece on a wall in .. say their room or just an enclosed area.. i'm interested in tips that will help me create a good mural inside.. so if you've done one and can give me some tips, i would gladly appreciate it.
P.S. i will post the plans for the mural in here tommorow.. so you can wait and gimme tips after i post up the plans if you'd like...
i haven't pieced indoors but i have just screwed around with a wall cuz my buddy was painting it soon after......WEAR A MASK.....invest in a serious mask cuz man the fumes are waaaaaay worse indoors....take breaks too....other than that go nuts.
Think about it, you have writers learning the ins and outs of entire transport systems, risking serious injury even death, arrest and criminal records that would limit your opportunities for the rest of your life, for what? To simply paint a picture, does this seem logical to you? If the answer is no then it is most likely that you don’t fathom the idealism behind graffiti.
buy tips! or rack em, meh, whatever. If he/she is paying for paint, buy some good stuff.. i like krylon
But yeah, mask! and ventilation. Open windows, door, EVERYTHING, cause FUMES SUCK!

yeah i just bought a mask for $36 its got 2 filters on it.. its good.. and the "girl" is paying for supplies so i'm gonna order some krylon.. man this is gonna be tight.. i'll post up the plan for the mural tommorow.. anyway i'm not only using spray paint.. i'm also using some normal wall paint..
P.S. how about price.. what should i charge...? well i guess you should wait to see layout for mural eh?
man charge for supplies and what your design is worth. so add 20 to 50 bucks plus cost for your mask and supplies. so you'll be charging about a 150 to 200 bucks.. dont overcharge or she'll cancel it.
make shure you know what she thinks is reasonable. if your price is to high, talk it over with her and explain everything. be nice about it and she'll refer others to you. remember, youre working for her.
i'd prolly charge for just the supplies and mask. theres gonna be leftovers. if not, order extra and ask to keep whats left. this way she's happy and you just got a free up!

"GRAFFITI IS AN ART, AND IF ART IS A CRIME, HOW COME PICASSO NEVER DONE TIME"
Cavemen did it, so did Romans and Egyptians. The Incas did
it, so did Greeks and Native Americans. There was graffiti on the
New York subway a year after it was built. There`s graffiti on the
moon. If graffiti is vandalism, and vandalism is graffiti, then man
has left his mark with garbage at the farthest reaches of the
universe. So you with your pathetic desire to be remembered are in
good company. I could spend a ream of paper telling you about the
development of modern graffiti, but we`ve got other ground to cover.
It`s important that you know it, so ask your local expert (or DJ
Deadly Budda in Pittsburg if you don`t have one) and he`ll tell you
his version.
