I'm a newbie because I have only been going at this for the past month... and well ya.... I figure I'm still a newbie... But thanks for the compliments... I know I need colour.. I'm going to post them back on here when I get so shit for the colour.

no prob. just remember that most good writers have solid foundations. start from the bottom and work your way up. go to www.artcrimes.com and check some of the bombs. notice how not all the good ones are wildestyle? thets where you wanna be. practice solid lettering, and develope an alphabet of your own with a few possibilities for each letter. make most of the letters thick and fat. then add style and play with them. after you have this down and solid, play around with the curves and width of the lettering. then (after a month or so of playing like this) you should try wild style again.

also, when doing wildestyle, try to make eachpart of your letters connect with themselves before being a part of another letter.

ya... and my drawings suck ass.. I have been working for about two months on evrything and I still suck ass... take Wak's advice... practice lots and keep at it... you'll get better the more you look how others do it... If you can.... get your hands on some Graffin' Video's as is real tapes... or Downloaded vids! They really help... trust me!
