Sure, it's colors are attractive to the general public, but if you don't wanna be labeled a toy, we suggest you get those simples done before you start writing on walls. Dubai's not to be underestimated. It's a big city, and it's quite possible that they've got some good writers. I didn't mean your last pic. I meant the ones before that. And I suggest you forget everything you learned from Mr. Wiggles.

A-Shun, Dubai doesnt have many writers sadly, (1) its TOO hot and you cant spend alot of time outside to write ^^ PLUS .. If police caught you, you're dead... Dubai is flat, as in it doesnt have many alleys that you can run through to mislead police..No its either all villas or tall buildings/skyscrapers .. So no place to run :S .. And as in every country, the law against writers is pretty tough ..
Oh and can you please tell me what will learning simples teach me ?? Seriously I dont know, I would love it if you can clear that out ... Am I supposed to write letters without anything added to it ?

simples teach you how to develop your own style from scratch as opposed to just copying someone elses. in my opinion good simples also lay the foundation for solid pieces .. i found it strange at first but you get used to them after some time

Okay .... that video ^^^ some of the worst iv seen ... which is sad ... ima just stay off the walls till i get this down pat ... but for the last few days iv been working on letter and found a font ima work with .. and eventually it will morph around the way i draw it to form my own unique style ... so heres a starting picture no 3D ... some filled in spaces so letters would stand out .. its kinda rough I see alot of my own mistakes here .. but with practice comes perfection

a really quick lesson that applies not only to walls, but these boards as well. anywhere that public will see your stuff for that matter. And i know i have been over this again and again.

Don't submit stuff to the public eye with the knowledge that it sucks. If you have to add a disclaimer that it sucks, then you shouldnt be posting it. Do your BEST and post only your BEST work on here or on walls. the benefit of this forum is that instead of making a fool of yourself on walls, your BEST will be critiqued and you can improve it until your best becomes better and your skills become refined.

So, in short, don't post shit you put half an effort into. look at it, critique it yourself, fix it and then bring it before your peers and mentors for their ideas and assistance.

you are wasting yours and our time otherwise.

quit being such a crybaby and listen to what has been teaching people this shit for years. if you think run before walk means skip the basics then go to artcrimes and trace some pictures like the rest of the toys. if you want to learn the real thing, then be patient and do simples until you know them. its that simple.

now you probably think what i said is an attack on you but its not its a wake up call..i think its needed sometimes man. your stuff might impress your friends or whatever but any decent writer will tell you the same thing about that sketch either nicely or not.
