yea, you started out good, work on your 3D, make all the letters the same size (yea, wat iomek said lol), and if your going to do a letter that looks kinda bold, then do all the letters bold, not just two of them, but other than that it looks good, good start, peace

try doing it on lined or graph paper until you get a good idea of how they should look straight. there is nothing wrong with using guides to figure things out at first

a good tip is.... look at the letters on your keyboard.... right? now try seperating the letter into blocks, so it's made up of them.. kinda hard to explain but you'll probably understand, anyway keep doing that but tweak the blocks, like making some fat, some thin, some bend a bit, other straight, etc... this is just a simple way of making simple letters, yet somewhat stylish...

heres a sketch where you can see the construction lines, what i was talking about making the letters out of blocks... might give you a better understanding of what i ment..

Played around with the idea of adjusting some letters. Also tried some highlights which are surprisingly hard. The black kind of ruined it. Oh well.

an easier way to do highlights would to first NOT use crayons.. and maybe get a white paint marker.. and highlight the areas you wish after you've completed the fill..

as for the letters structure.. keep practicing simples... and try not to make that "i" so crooked.. it made the word look like "evel"

I'm cool like dat

I'll throw a white paint marker on my list of things to buy. I have trouble with "I"s. It's hard to make them look good and simple. Practice makes perfect I guess.

practice does make perfect.. and about your "i" problem, jus keep it simple.. no need for the jagged middle.. think of the letter "T" with a bottom..

Crits For XSV: Stop bending the letter so much and don't use crayons.

A few quick things I did. Ignore the star in the 3rd one. Crits?

your on the right tracks man, just keep doing what your doing and it'll only get better and better!

the 1st one is decent, 2nd could be real nice if it was cleaner + straighter and the c or g(?) was adjusted a tiny bit, and if the i didnt go as thin at the bottom..

also, for the highlight issue... fuck a paint pen, i'd look for a white gel pen, sometimes they dont cover to great ontop of colour pencil, but if you wait for it to dry and go over it again it should be alright... and white gel pens are quite hard to find so if you do see any get a bunch of em just incase you don't find em again!

It says KioN in all but the first one. I can see how I looks like a C or a g though in the second one. Thanks for the advice.
