Basics For Bombs/Peices - 04-27-2003, 04:37 AM

k, I would put up all this myself, but what would be the fun in that? Actually, I jus too lazy and would rather give peeps a chance to put in their thoghts. Theirs been a lot of questions bout this so I just makin it all 1 thread. List paint brands, tips on rackin paint, tips on not getting caught, tips on can control, anything u think would be fit for this subject. And anyone looking for the info can see it easier insted of having like a million subject on it. Peace

fis
there is no way to fix it, the valve in the can is broken, hence it will spew til its outta paint or propelant.
Paint brands; i think just about any will do, but there are some brands that are clearly better, mainly montana, krylon is good too, thats what i use.

Not getting caught; hang around the place you are going to peice beforehand. notice when i cops come by and when is busiest. then plan from there. most times it early morning that has the least. Make sure it doesnt have alot of people areound 24-7 (duh)

racking paint:i havnt really done this before, but make sure you wear baggy clothes, and stay calm. Its also good to buy something too, so maybe buy a can while your at it (10 cans for the price of one, not good eh?) Mainly because it looks bad to walk around for 30 min and not buy something. Stay relaxed, try to control your breathing so its not fast, or your get excited and start to sweat ect.

Can control:Keep a equal distance from the wall (it varies depending on tip) and move your arm, not just your wrist. Always make sure your arm is constantly moving, ohterwise you get drips.
other stuff:for quick bombs, do your fill color and fill first, then the outline.

I hope this is better then my last attempt at giving advice when i wasnt exactly in a good state of mind... -_-

Peice; Machina

Aren't there quite a few threads spread out throughout this board of the where's, what's, when's, and how's of painting, piecing, booking, and racking? Seems kinda redundant. But that's just my opinion.

No it shouldn't.

If you want all this info and then some, search the rest of the board. There's tons of tips, pointers, and shit already there, with the same info that this post would have with the same people posting.

k, i did this so that there wouldnt b at ton of posts on the same thing. Peeps are too lazy to actually look for the stuff so they post a billion repetitive questions, and now they have somewhere to refer to, hence the sticky.
