about paint..

you don't have'ta order paint online to begin with.. what i do is go to Walmart and peel the barcode sticker off of the cheap 99 cent brand and then put it on a rusto can.. then you get rusto for under one dollar.. which is even better than ordering from the net to start with.. but i am not saying that rusto is better than montana etc... i'm just saying to start with rusto is better if you can pull it off at Walmart... and oh yeah make sure you find a dumb looking cashier who doesn't pay attention to what he/she scans... happy painting... i

Hey yall, I have been sketching for a couple years and had just got into aeorsol cans. I got some prety nice pieces in the city of Harrisburg (PA) but one thing that I have noticed is that crazy ass writas do pieces that have very thin lines and have percise shadowing and shit.....I wanted to know how they get those affects. And plus about how do u sketch your outline on a wall instead of just envisioning you piece on a wall imaginarily and shit?

You need to cut. Thats where if you want something like a thin black line, you paint the black line, and paint over part of it with another color so the line appears smaller. So if you spray a 3 in wide black line, and paint over 2in of it with another color, it looks like a 1in thick black line.

hay auzzies writers out there,
wot cans/markers u guys use??
i started on exports ($2.75AUS a can), worked alright but ive moved onto ironlak's now there shit loads better but at $7 a can, just wonderd what you guys use?? (beltons etc..) also what caps? i got black, blue, pink, orange and gray dot caps and NY fats but i found the stockies are just fine on the laks, as for markers i got the artline 100 and 50, poska's and a biggie 50, are there any others out there?? and anyone from SA what shops ya use??

i use montana black mostly since its the cheapest and nicest, i mostly use silver and tarr, the pink fatcaps are the nicest imo. and stocks for skinny lines.

and i have a mop with home made inkt.

Well if you still starting out you can better start with cheaper brands cause you'll be able to buy more paint. Unless it's the same out there as it is out here cause montana is the cheaper paint brand out here.
