i have white paint pens. and for hi-lights i prefer white-out pens becasue the lines are super thin.
i just dont bother adding them to sketches because they're only draft copys. the only reason i even color sketches is to know what i want the fills to look like and have a rough idea of how much paint i'm going to need for the final peice.
the fills/colors dont usually end up the same on the wall anyways depending on what my current supplies are.
fills mean nothing if your letters suck
af for markers, i use anything i can get my hands on. most of my markers are copics or touch twins, but sometimes i use crayolas or even hi-lighters.

tetsuo stencil is nice man....nice sketch^ aswell....the arrow on the second b and the extension on the right of the y are a bit out of place in my opinion but that's a matter of taste I guess... the colorsceme is sweet nice and chaotic

thanks. im focusing on each letter of my name individually. studying how each letter acts on it's own rather than as a whole. things i can do with them etc. i think it'll give me a much better understanding of how they can work together in new and exciting ways..
