For the majority of us, who we are attracted to is heavily due to our background and how, but more importantly, WHERE we were brought up. It really doesn't matter what race you are, if you grew up in a place surrounded by white people and you actually interacted with those people, you have a high chance of being attracted to white people because that is all you know and who you are comfortable with. Same thing goes with the more sheltered kid, who will probably pursue the guy/girl that resembles dad/mom due to them only being comfortable with the those kind of people (unless the kid hates their parents).
As for how bboying comes into play. In this culture, the whole racial boundaries are pretty much torn apart. Everyone has heard the phrase: "There's no such thing as a racist bboy". If someone claims to be a bboy/bgirl but is spouting out racist stuff, then he/she isn't a bboy/bgirl or even apart of this culture. With that being said, bboying also has some effect on how we view the opposite sex. Everyone is exposed to everyone else's culture in one way or another. For some, it changes their tastes, others it just broadens their horizons.
